Youth Programs Staff

photo of Ann Krinitsky

MSYO sends a fond farewell and our heartfelt appreciation to
Ann Krinitsky, MSYO’s Music Director (2010-2023)

A Note from Ann:

“I am extremely grateful for your steadfast support as well as that of the Marin Symphony Staff and Youth and Education Committee members. Your commitment and dedication have enabled me to effectively pursue priorities and accomplish important goals. I have appreciated the opportunity to raise and nurture our players’ awareness, responsiveness, and professionalism. Even after so many years of working with orchestras at every age and ability level, I’ve been regularly astonished and rewarded by how beautifully our instrumentalists collaborate to convey the essence of the music we’ve prepared, stepping up as soloists and sharing the spotlight to allow everyone on stage to shine during each performance. I find nothing more gratifying than to help a group of musicians achieve more collectively than they could individually, and I’ve enjoyed so many of those wonderful, and frankly, miraculous moments with MSYO.”
