Did you make it to our Holiday Pops concert? If not, you missed a great night of holiday music. We had a full house and the orchestra and choruses were pitch perfect. And Alasdair Neale was so energetic and fun on the conductor’s stand that we thought he might “pop!”
Highlights of the program were Michael Pritchard’s delivery of “T’was the Night Before Christmas”, “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” performed by the Marin Youth Chorus, the theme from Home Alone and the “Hallelujah Chorus” performed beautifully by the Marin Symphony Chorus.
It’s nights like this that make us so grateful for the support of our community. We truly could not produce concerts like Holiday Pops without the generosity of donors, audience members, sponsors and foundations. Even with a full house, ticket sales only cover 40% of our expenses to produce the show.
If you support the arts in Marin and love having a high-caliber orchestra in our community, we encourage you to help us meet our year-end goal.
To remember nights like the Holiday Pops concert, we produced a commemorative ornament for concert goers. And now, we are making it available to supporters who are willing to donate $20 (or more!) to our year-end giving campaign.
Your contribution is tax-deductible* and will help us keep our education programs and performances funded through the end of the season.
Thank you for supporting your Marin Symphony and happy holidays!
Hurry! We have a limited supply of ornaments. Donate today and get yours before they’re gone!
*tax deduction does not include nominal value of ornament.
