Contributions are deductible for federal income tax purposes according to provisions of the Internal Revenue Code and applicable state law. A letter will be issued to you shortly after your donation. Federal Tax ID: 94-6104150
Individual Giving:
- Credit or debit card. Use our secure online Donation form, or call our office to process payment over the phone. Select a one-time gift, or set up a recurring amount.
- By check. Simply mail a check made out to “Marin Symphony” in the amount of your gift to:
Marin Symphony, attn: Development, 4340 Redwood Hwy, Ste 409C San Rafael, CA 94903 - In Honor or Memory. Let us know you wish to honor a birthday, anniversary, favorite musician, or memory of someone you love.
- Stock, Bond, or Mutual Fund Transfer. Marin Symphony accepts gifts of publicly traded stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Contact your banker or broker to transfer funds to the Marin Symphony Charles Schwab account, and click here for guidelines and information.
- Donor-Advised Fund. You can establish a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) account with a sponsoring organization like a community foundation or financial institution, then contribute funds to your account which will provide you with an immediate tax deduction. Once your fund is established, you can recommend grants to qualified charities through your DAF platform, and the sponsoring organization will then distribute the funds to the charity on your behalf.
- Employee Matching. Your gift to the Marin Symphony may be doubled if your employer has a matching program. Please see your Human Resources department today!
- Did you know that you can donate to Marin Symphony while shopping? At the Mill Valley Market checkstand, select your favorite non-profit from the registered list and tell your checker, and 2% of your total receipt will be donated!
