Grażyna Bacewicz’s astonishing quartet for four violins starts our season, and the concert concludes with Franz Schubert’s masterful Trout quintet, all performed by Marin Symphony all-stars.

Maestro Fawzi Haimor begins the festivities with a thrilling work by Australian composer John Psathas. Marin Symphony Principal Pianist John Wilson returns with two Liszt blockbusters, and we close with Brahms’s immortal Second Symphony.

Maestro Haimor presents the Marin Symphony premiere of Fanny Mendelssohn’s romantic overture. San Francisco Symphony superstar Principal Clarinet Carey Bell joins the orchestra in Mozart’s nonpareil concerto. Beethoven’s dancing, celebratory Seventh Symphony brings it all home.
