Symphony Day

- On Hold for Spring 2024 -

We look forward to inviting you back*
Fourth graders from all over Marin County are invited to visit Marin Symphony to experience the thrill of a live orchestra performance! Each spring, the Symphony hosts over 2,000 students at our concert hall. During a 50-minute program of family-friendly classics, kids have exposure to sights, sounds, emotions, and history of classical music.

For many students, this is their first live classical music experience! Recall the first time seeing a tubby tuba, glistening timpani, or proud string bass. Remember your response to hearing a quirky bassoon, soaring flute, or sliding trombone. Now imagine those sights and sounds all together! When curiosity and wonderment are sparked, new musicians are born.
Admission is free to Marin County schools. Reservations are required. Attendance is on a first-come first-served basis.

First performance: 10:00-10:55 a.m.
Second performance: 11:30-12:25 p.m.
