Concerts at College of Marin

Marin Symphony is excited to partner with College of Marin to host Chamber Orchestra concerts in the James Dunn Theatre! Here are tips and instructions to help make your visit as smooth as possible. If you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to call the Marin Symphony office at (415) 479-8100.
The Address
It is not recommended to use the official college address 835 College Ave for navigation devices, because it will likely direct you far from the Performing Arts Building and theatre. Instead try 15 Laurel Ave, Kentfield or corner of Laurel Ave and Sir Francis Drake Bl, Kentfield.
Getting There
Please allow yourself plenty of time to compensate for traffic and parking. If you are coordinating bussing, ride-share, carpool, or driving a friend, please arrive by 30 minutes before performance for time for parking, navigating the building, and getting comfortably seated. Concerts will begin on time, and latecomers will be seated once it is possible.

Pre-performance, Concessions, and Post-Concert Q & A
Enjoy pre-concert performances in the lobby provided by members of the youth orchestra – Owen Xu, MSYO concertmaster, will perform for the matinees, and Sydney Li-Jenkins, assistant concertmaster, will perform Saturday evening.

The Marin Symphony Youth Orchestra is excited to host concessions in the main lobby in support of their 2025 Vienna Tour! Treats and waters will be available for purchase. Please note that food and beverage, except bottled water with a secured lid, are not allowed in the theatre.

You are invited to stay after the concert when musicians will remain onstage for musical discussion and taking questions from the audience!
